Madden 25 is a realistic simulation strategy football game developed by Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts, released on August 15, 2024. It is available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This new Madden offers plenty of new features that we will be going over today.
In Madden 25, there is a new feature called BOOM Tech, which is a new dynamic physics-informed tackling system that creates more realistic collisions and animations, taking into account the players’ ratings, strength, weight, and more. Improved AI: The AI logic has been refined to improve how defenders and offensive players react during plays. Switch Stick: This feature allows defensive players to quickly switch between defenders before the pass is thrown, providing more options for creating pressure on the offense. Coverage Shells: Defenders can now disguise their coverage to confuse the offense by toggling between different coverage shells in the play-call menu. Custom Route Stems: Players have more control over the length of a receiver’s initial route stem. New Kick Meter Options: Two kick meter options are available: the legacy Madden meter and the new Multi-Meter.
These are all the new game play features in Madden 25. If I had to rate the game out of 10, I would give it a 7/10. There is still plenty of room for improvement in the franchise mode.
