Nba 2k26 is a basketball game that is based on the NBA and all of the players coaches and community. It was released September 5, 2025 at 9 a.m. The NBA 2K series has been out since November 10, 1999, which is 26 years as of late 2025. The first game, titled NBA 2K, was developed by Visual Concepts and released on the Sega Dreamcast by Sega Sports. In 2k26 you can change your outfit, you can get new gear and celebrations, you can also get a crew started with all of your friends to play together.
I personally don’t love 2k26, but I highly enjoy it. I play almost every day after school because its pretty fun to play. I personally think the player builder and the jumpshot creator is really fun to do. You can make really bad and really good players. I have three builds, and one of them is a 7 foot 4 inch center. I know that some people think that type of build is stupid because you can just shoot over people, which people hate, but I love it because I’m the person shooting over the people. I also have a 6 foot 5 inch point guard, and I have a 6 foot 6 inch point guard. I absolutely love my 6,6 point guard; he’s my main build because he’s got good handles and a really good jumpshot.
There are some bad things about it because nothing can be perfect. It costs $100 to max out a build to a 99 overall, and 99 overall is the highest overall you can be in the game. Another reason is because they patched fading shots. They made it around 40 times harder to make them. Also the price of VC to upgrade your build is way too expensive; some people can’t afford that, so there builds is weak. If your build is weak and you can’t afford VC, then 2k won’t be that fun for you.
I recomend this game really to anyone because its not a bad game for kids and it’s perfect for anyone and everyone. If you have young kids they might encounter older players saying some bad things about them. I personally have been cussed out a couple times because I beat someone in an online game, but that’s really the only bad thing about it.
I would rate this game 4.5 stars out of 5 because its a pretty well-rounded game, and there’s not that many negative things about it.
