Skrilla and Lil Yachty, two of the biggest names in rap right now, decided to collaborate in surprising fans with a new single. The two dropped the single on Friday October 17, 2025, without notice.

The song explores ideas of growing up poor, but eventually becoming rich, and the emotions that come with that. Yachty exclaims “I be rackin’ up the bread, ten G’s ahead, I love the gluten,” showing his hunger for money in a metaphor comparing bread to $100,000.

Skrilla explains “So many shooters, expensive hats, my shooters walk down in Margielas.” This describes how Skrilla is still connected to his violent past,  but he allows the people he is connected with to share his wealth.

This song is a beautiful descriptor of how your past and present can combine when you get famous. The two artists describe this in different ways, but do a great job in collaborating their messages.

I would rate the single 3.5 stars out of 5.
