Baby Keem’s album “Ca$ino,” released February 20, 2026, is in the middle of a lot of controversy around how good the album actually is. With very deep cutting lyrics, great home-produced melodies, and a lot of features added onto the album, the album comes together to be very open about issues Keem has faced in his life.
The album opens with an intro track talking about Keem’s personal struggles with his family, his family’s addictions, and his struggles with women. Going back and forth from track to track there are rage tracks that fade into love ballads and then into dance songs.
The album mixes funky melodies with a classic LA rap feel to create beautiful pieces of art. Standout tracks include “Ca$ino”, “Bird & the Bees”, “Good Flirts”, “I am not a lyricist”, “$ex Appeal” and “Dramatic Girl.” All of these tracks have differing themes from arguing with a significant other to talking about the addiction epidemic in the United States.
Overall, this is one of my favorite albums of the year with multiple standout tracks, great melodies and amazing lyrics and vocals. Keem delivered one of his greatest works of art to date, and I am very excited to see what he does in the future.
Out of 5 stars, I would have to rate it a 4.5/5.
