Chapter 1 (Part 2): The Search
“Really, Cash, Strange name for a cowboy such as yourself,” Ronin replies.
“You can’t just judge him based on what he looks like Ronny,” Cherry replies.
“How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me Ronny!” Ronin violently lashes at Cherry. Cherry begins to cry as mascara runs down her face. She curls her arms near her. Grim rushes at Ronin, getting sliced by Ronin’s sword and pinned to the ground.
Hollow stands up, “You better not move or you’ll never earn my respect!” Ronin screams as he pushes his blade into Grim. Cherry runs over trying to get Ronin off of Grim. “Stop, he can’t be hurt, he’s too vulnerable, you’re killing him.” Cherry says in a weeping voice.
Ronin pushes Cherry hard as she flies hitting the wall, “Cherry!” Hollow yells as he grasps his hand in the air. He then turns to Ronin, angered.
Hollow puts on a mask from his bag that suits him into an armor-coated silk suit and spawns in two cyber-blades. Hollow rushes at Ronin, as the blades dig into Ronin’s shoulders, Hollow flips Ronin behind him and the blades come out of Ronin’s shoulders.
“You dare insult me with your vile ways of harm. Now you must pay your gratitude and perish to my being!” Ronin yells as the wounds in his shoulders stitch themselves together.
The pair battle it out, clashing their blades together, using stabbing motions and flipping through the air, on the final clash of their swords…
They freeze in time as a man and a tall figured entity dressed in an outfit resembling a knight with red glowing eyes comes walking in. “Your disgraceful duties did this, such ways of violence cause missing entitlements to disappear, the only existence you can blame is this moment of attendance,” the man says as the knight grabs Cherry and walks out. The man then closes the door.
Time continues and the pair continue to clash their hearts out,
“What did you do, where’s Cherry?” the pair hear Grim cry in agony. The pair stop and become aware of their surroundings, they look to the wall, crushed in by the impact of Cherry, but there lay only the cracks in it.
“This is your fault, now she’s out of our distance and we may never find her again,” Grim says as he falls apart, charging at Ronin, knocking him back into the wall, sending him straight through several rooms. “As for you…” Grim says as he looks to Hollow
“You should go, for I have business with Ronny,” Grim says to Hollow. Hollow stays still, not moving a muscle. “I told you to go. Do you have a death wish or something?” Grim angrily says.
Hollow quickly makes his way out, fearing Grim could easily end him. Hollow sits down on the crumbling sand, resting his back on a broken wall just outside the main building.
For why must this happen now, I need to help Ronin, even though he tried to kill me, I owe him, since it was a little my fault for Cherry getting taken. Hollow states to himself, determined to be the greater good and help Ronin out.
Hollow puts his mask on once again and charges at one of the walls of the building, breaking through the entire wall and right into Grim. Grim tries to look but Hollow’s figure is blocked out by the sun. Hollow helps Ronin up to his feet and hands him a pouch.
Ronin opens the pouch to discover a bunch of candy. He takes one and swallows it, clearing up his blood and wounded bones. Ronin drops the pouch and retrieves his blades.
“You ready?” Hollow asks Ronin,
“Better than ever!” Ronin says as he looks at Hollow, then to Grim.
Ronin fuses his two blades together and thrusts them down breaking the ground, turning everything black…
