On Saturday April 13, 2024, a response from Drake to the Future album was leaked. In this song labeled “Push Ups,” Drizzy decided to throw shots at the whole rap game. At first fans assumed it was AI-generated, but Drake later confirmed that he did make it by posting the song on his Instagram.

In this track Drake throws shots at almost everybody that was dissing him last week on Future’s album. He starts the song by saying, “I could never be nobody number-one fan/Your first number one, I had to put it in your hand.” This line is Drake responding to Future saying that he is acting like someone’s number-one fan, claiming that he is the reason Future has a number one song.

After Drake is done throwing shade at Future, he then immediately goes into talking that talk to Kendrick Lamar, who dissed him on the song “Like That.” Drake states, “Top told you to drop and give me fifty like some push-ups.” This line is used because Lamar gives %50 of his earnings to his label owned by Anthony Tiffith A.K.A Top Dawg. He also questions Kendrick being a “big stepper” by saying “How the [expletive deleted] you steppin’ with a size seven men’s on?” This is a big shot at Kendrick because Drake is making fun of him for being short.

The last major person Drake expresses his feelings on is Metro Boomin’, a famous producer that has worked with Drake in the past. Drake tells Metro “Metro, shut yo’ [expletive deleted] up, and make some drums [expletive deleted]” This is a direct shot at Metro, and Drake does this because Metro was saying mean things on twitter. If Metro responds with a song he’ll be doing what Drake tells him, and if he starts rapping, Drake will kickstart his rap career. Either way Metro won’t look good.

In conclusion, Drake is ready to respond to anyone that comes at him. Within a week there will be a response, and the only winner of the controversy will be Drake.
