Do you know Derek Gibson? If you don’t, he is five years old and turns six in five days. He goes to Corry Area Primary School, and he loves to learn. He grew up in Corry, PA.

When not in school, he loves to play Roblox, Minecraft, and spend time with his family. He has three brothers and one sister. When I asked Derek what he wanted to be when he gets older he replied, “I’ve already told you this. A doctor”.

When asked where he wants to go, Derek said Disney World and Lego Land. Derek’s favorite movie is “Encanto.” His favorite colors are purple, pink, green and blue!

For upcoming vacation days, Derek wants to spend time with his family. When I asked Derek his favorite class, he said “Class with Ms.Roach.” Last but not least, his biggest pet peeve is when I mess around with him.

Some advice he would like to leave the readers with is, “Stay strong.”
