On Tuesday, May 12, in the new gym, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Menjivar, and Mrs. Higley hosted the SNAP Fair. it was Mrs. Smith’s 6th year doing the SNAP Fair, and it was Mrs. Higley’s 1st year participating.
The word snap in SNAP Fair stands for “Students-Centered”, “Non-Competetive”, “All-Inclusive” “Project-Based.”
The SNAP Fair is set up every year and is for sixth graders to show their problem-solving skills and gives their mind a little break from the normal school day.
There were a lot of cool and creative games at the fair and some of them even had candy as a reward if you solved the math-related problem. Some of the games were challending, and then some of them were easy as well, but all of the kids put in a lot of effort to have a good time.
