The last month of the school year fills up with important events

As the end of the school year approaches, several important academic and student events are scheduled to take place. These upcoming activities give students opportunities to finish the year strong while also celebrating their accomplishments.

From May 11–22, students will be taking the PDE Spring Keystone Exams, an important academic test period.

On May 15, Decision Day will be held at 1:30 PM followed by Mental Health Awareness Week sponsored by Safeline, from May 18–22.

There will be no school on May 25 in celebration of Memorial Day. Academic celebrations continue with practice for the Academic Recognition Ceremony at 2:30 PM (grades 9 & 10) and the actual ceremony at 6:00 PM on May 28.

The final stretch of the school year includes several senior-focused events. On May 29, all students will participate in Activity Day, and final grades for seniors are due by 11:00 AM.

June begins with the Senior Picnic on June 1, followed by extra graduation ticket distribution at 7:00 AM and the Academic Recognition Ceremony for grades 11 and 12 at 6:00 PM on June 2.

Graduation practices will be held at 3:00 PM on June 3. The last student day is June 4, with the Graduation Ceremony at 6:00 PM. And the final teacher day on June 5, underclassmen grades are due by 12:00 PM that day.
