The Corry drama program presented “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” May 1-2, a musical about a son who stood out against his 11 brothers, but they disliked Joseph and got rid of him.

It was a journey with danger and laughter as Joseph goes to Egypt and the brothers find him with all the riches from the Pharaoh.  They feel sorry for ratting him out and the show ends with happiness.

I interviewed the head cast members and Crew about their thoughts on the production:

Landon Hasbrouck (Joseph) said, “The play went great.” He would  like to thank the visitors  and cast for hard work.

Ava Wetherbee (Narrator 1) said it was, “Really nice and [I] had a BLAST.” She also wants to thank Mrs. Britten and Rachal H.

Clara Harrington (Narrator 2) said the play “Went well,” thanking Mrs. Britten, family, and Mrs. Smrcka

Joseph Johnsten (Reuben) said the “play was great; Less stressful from past plays…it came together very well!”

Nick Hodak (Spotlighter/Crew) said it went “very well” and he would like to thank Mrs. Gibson and Mrs. Britten for letting him and Trenton Gilson spotlight the show.

Overall, the play went pretty well based on audience reviews.  The consensus from the cast and crew was that the first night was the best, but both shows were good.
