E.P.I.C. is a drug and alcohol prevention group with a mission to help people learn the problems that come with alcohol and drug use and prevent the usage of these substances as much as possible. Every year the Tobacco Resistance Unit (TRU) group attends the “Day at the Capitol” in Harrisburg.
TRU is the tobacco resistance unit and we work with them in E.P.I.C. the trip is a way for us to see what’s happening and prevent things from happening that we don’t want to see.
The trip is May 5-6, leaving school around 8:45 a.m. on Monday and returning around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. On this trip we will be talking to our senators talking to them about what changes we would like to see in our city. We are going up with our leader Theresa and advisor Mr. Chud.
This trip is a way to understand more and express opinions that really matter. This group is an amazing thing to be part of and its members learn so much.
