Last week, Mr. Daniels, Landon Hasbrouck, and Logan Clark went to the Erie County Teen Driving Challenge to represent Corry strong and that they did. The two boys finished second overall. Landon Hasbrouck received the highest score out of any student on the Pre-Trip Inspection Test.
I sat down with Landon about the event and he had some very nice things to say about it. “I really enjoyed learning about driving,” Hasbrouck said. “There were high school students from all over Erie County with the best driving skills competing for one thousand dollars and getting taught more about driving skills so it was a fun time.”
Hasbrouck also added, “We got Moe’s catering, and it was really good.”
I asked Landon if he had anything that he would want to say to the readers about the event, and he said, “It’s a great experience to learn about driving and showcase your skills, so I definitely recommend if given the opportunity.”
Overall, this seemed like a very fun event and Corry students got to showcase their skills and why our students are the best.
