On Wednesday, Mr. Jaquith announced that he and Mr. Krasa applied for each student in our district to receive a sapling through Pennsylvania Game Commission’s 2026 Seedlings for Schools program. Also, he wanted to give everyone a heads up about Earth Day and let classes and parents know.
He also said as soon as the trees were delivered, he would have Lori Weidner deliver to CAIS and CAPS.
Jaquith announced that they received seedling orders for 875 ninebark and 1075 northern red oak seedlings to be given to 1950 students. He wanted to thank everyone for participating in the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s 2026 Seedlings for Schools program.
Finally, the trees arrived yesterday and were announced that they would be sent home with students this afternoon or Monday.
