The group held a reunion concert at Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21. They performed some of their new songs from the album and some popular songs from their past albums. This comeback concert was live-streamed and you can watch it on Netflix now. There is a documentary also on Netflix called BTS: THE RETURN that follows the group’s comeback journey focusing on the creation of their new album.
The BTS World Tour “ARIRANG” spans 2026–2027, marking the group’s return to live performance with over 85 dates in 34 cities worldwide, beginning April 9, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea. The tour features a 360-degree in-the-round stage design and showcases new material from their album alongside hits like “Dynamite” and “Butter.”
The album takes its name from a traditional Korean folk song, signaling a sentimental return to their identity and heritage after a period focused on global, English-language pop hits. This album acts as a “confession of love” to their heritage, anchoring the global superstars back to their Korean roots after their long hiatus.
