Salsa y Salsa Fiesta 2026 was held Tuesday, March 31, from 12:30-2:30 at the Corry High School in the Old Gym.
This event featured Mambo music, Pinata breaking, a treasure hunt, a salsa dance contest, a fashion show, and a salsa-tasting contest.
The Salsa y Salsa Fiesta is “multidimensional” Mrs Smith said.
Smith also said she was “very proud of the game on attitude [of students] throughout the year!” Throughout the year, the Spanish students prepared for the Fiesta year-long with pinatas, salsa, music, presentations for a Spanish-speaking country, and much more.
The fiesta was a great event that the Spanish program hosted with dances, Spanish culture, and allowing students to see what a fiesta looks like without having to board a plane.
