The Corry Explorers is an EMT and Firefighting training program, created by eniors Landon Hasbrouck and Gavin Greer who are also advisors of the program.
The explorers will learn EMS and Firefighting skills. The group will learn raising and lowering ladders, search and rescue, forcible entry, SCBA workouts, hydrant dressing, going over truck tools and so much more. The rules are: attend most meetings; must complete application; be respectful; be ready to learn; NO SWEARING; maintain a 2.5 GPA; and must be 14-18 years to join.
This program will teach you so much about the people in emergency services. This will also mean that you will receive gear but cannot take home unless in the Corry Fire Department.
The Corry Explorers group will elect officer Explorers like Lieutenant and Captain. We will look at videos of Corry Firefighter in action! This is not a program yet but will be hopefully soon!
