Ava Whiteley, who is a 2025 graduate from the Corry Area School, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. To help her during this fight, there are many different ways to contribute to her and her family. These include different events during the Corry boys basketball game on Friday, February 6, a link to purchase clothing for support, and other events that are in the works.
For the basketball game that takes place on February 6, there are many ways to show your support. The team boosters have organized a charity event during the game. One way you could help contribute is by purchasing 50/50 tickets. Furthermore, there will be a Chinese auction along with T-shirt sales.
There is a website that includes additional clothing options. Kaylyn Whiteley, an aunt of Ava, acknowledged that the orders will not be shipped in time for the game, but she is trying to set a date where everyone from the town can come together wearing the clothing to support Ava. She also added gratitude to the city of Corry, stating “The support in our small city is truly amazing!”
Everyone come together to support Ava in this tough obstacle in her life. Visit the website here to show extra support to her and her family.
