“Avengers Infinity War” is part 1 of 2 in the final climatic series of Avengers movies. Released on April 27, 2018, Infinity War was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, while screenwriting was provided by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
The story follows Thanos (Josh Brolin), a warlord from the moon Titan, going around the Multiverse collecting the Infinity stones, in which each has a power of the universe; Red (Reality), Orange (Soul), Yellow (Mind), Green (Time), Blue (Space), and Purple (Power).
Thanos had already collected the Power Stone from the planet Xantar, and has now come face-to-face with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and his brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Thanos is ambushed by The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), but ultimately defeats him. Loki sends Hulk back to Earth. Thor is tortured until Loki gives up the Tesseract Cube, which holds the Space Stone. Thor then watches as Thanos kills his brother, and vows vengeance on Thanos. Thanos then motions his children to Earth to find the rest of the stones.
Throughout the movie, characters like Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Captain America (Chris Evans), Peter Parker/Spiderman (Tom Holland), Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), and the Guardians make way in the battle.
This movie became really emotional in many instances, but also was filled with dozens of great fight scenes, including Wanda/Vision fight, Thor/Loki fight, and the final fight amongst Thanos and the Avengers, where eventually Thanos manages to retrieve all six Infinity Stones and snapped, erasing half of existence.
Overall, the movie was really good and I would definitely recommend it for any fan of sci-fi or Marvel: 5/5
