This year the Corry Beavers play Mercyhurst Prep at home for their Homecoming game on Friday.
Currently the Beavers are 3-2 and the Lakers are 2-3. This will be the Beavers second home game of the year.
The Homecoming court consists of Blake Cook, Colton Anderson, Landon Hasbrouck, Ethan Behm, and Seth Alsdorf, for the boys. For the girls it is Ava Hallberg, Kendall Passinger, Emma Fiscuss, Ava Weatherbee, Evelyn Beckman, Dreya titch.
The candidates will walk out Friday night at halftime and that’s where the winners will be revealed. Last years winners were Porter Kafferlin for king and Angelica Cressley for queen.
When asked about being on homecoming court Blake Cook said “Its an honor, It has been a very fun a memorable experience with everyone involved.”
When asked the same question, Kendall Passinger said “To me, homecoming court is a group of well-liked and kind people. I am honored to be liked by my peers, and recognized as someone who cares about our school.”
The homecoming parade is tomorrow at 6 p.m., the game is Friday, and the “Night in Ibiza” dance is Saturday from 7-10 p.m. in the East Gym.
