‘Julie and the Phantoms’ comeback?

Kenny Ortega’s new deal with Netflix and Paradigm
Julie and the Phantoms comeback?

The expectations are a comeback. Kenny Ortega, the well known director, producer, and choreographer has signed a new deal with Paradigm and Netflix. This means that “Julie and the Phantoms” could make a comeback. But this new deal is only the beginning of the signs for a return.

In 2019, Ortega signed his first deal with Netflix and this ended up straining his relationship with Disney. One of the shows created during this time was one season of “Julie and the Phantoms.” After the show aired, it caught on and obtained its own fan-base. When the show was canceled in 2020 people went crazy. Most felt robbed of the experience and that it was unfair a show that was SO POPULAR was not getting the recognition it deserved.

Over the last four years fans have not stopped talking about how they want the show to continue, in a previous article it was discussed that there is even a petition for the continuation of the show. One of the signs of a comeback is that Charlie Gillespie (Luke) has finally cut his hair and shaved to look how he did in the show and Jeremy Shada (Reggie) has posted a cover of a song from “Julie and the Phantoms.” On this TikTok someone asked “Do you still talk to the cast of jatp?” to which he responded “Of course! Love the cast.”

However, the most important, most promising factor of all is that Kenny Ortega changed his Instagram bio to “Producer/Director/Choreographer Kenny Ortega. @julieandthephantoms” The facts are there, the evidence is undeniable, and there could be a reunion coming.
