[Warning: This article contains full spoilers for episode 1 of “The Boys” fifth season]

The first two episodes of “The Boys” season 5 have released, and so far, I think episode 1 is really good and this upcoming season is going to be great.

To start off, in episode one Starlight infiltrates a Vought 7 show and releases the Flight 37 video out to the world, which drives Homelander crazy the rest of the episode. Sister Sage covers it up by saying that it is A.I. Homelander announces that they are going to kill Hughie, Frenchie, and Mother’s Milk in order to draw Starlight and Butcher there. Butcher gets Starlight and Kimiko and they make a plan to break in to the camp where Hughie, Frenchie, and Mother’s Milk are hiding.

They get in but Homelander is waiting for them. Starlight makes a giant light wave so that the Boys can escape but not everyone is able to get out. Homelander and Butcher start fighting but Butcher escapes, then Homelander grabs Hughie and is about to lazer him in the face in order to teach Butcher a lesson but then A-Train pulls up and saves him but gets nicked by Homelander’s lazers.

Homelander sees A-Train and then chases him down trying to lazer him. A person walks in front of A-Train and he stumbles out of the way leading Homelander to catch him and A-Train basically calls him a fraud and he’s not afraid of him, which leads to Homelander getting mad and killing him.
