Cosmotology class offers free hair and nail treatments to middle school students

The cosmotology students at Corry Area High School offered free hair and nail treatments  to middle school students for the upcoming school dance.

Today, I visited the class and was immediately drawn to just how many people were in the class being not only students of the class, but also the middle schoolers who were taking advantage of the service.

For the middle school students, it gave them a free way to get ready for the dance. For the students of cosmotology, it gave hands-on experiences and a feel at what could come if they continue with that career route.

Overall, this was a very nice service and it fully represented what Corry Area High School is all about.

Arthur Cassidy is a junior in high school who elected to take the newspaper class. He is a student athlete with his main sport being basketball. However, when he is not playing basketball or sitting through school he tends to hang out with his friends, play video games, and eat. He also likes to travel in his time off of school.
