I had an amazing opportunity to go see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, on the shores of Lake Erie, on July 30, 2025, for my birthday. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a museum dedicated to the history and impact of rock music with artifacts, exhibits, and archives. It also features memorabilia, instruments, stage outfits, song lyrics, and an extensive research library.
They have a merch store, which has all different kinds of items like vinyls, CDs, stickers, clothing, and so much more. They also have a cafe on the very first floor where you can sit down and eat whenever you want to.
My favorite thing that I saw was a room called The Garage. It is an interactive exhibit on the second floor where visitors can play the guitars, keyboards, and drums. You can also learn how to play a song with a video tutorial. There was also a room where you can put headphones on and listen to whatever band you want, which I thought was pretty cool.
Some of my other favorite things that I saw were Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” jacket, an exhibit about Queen’s Live Aid Concert, which included Freddie Mercury’s shoes he wore at the Live Aid Concert and some other things as well, and Stevie Nicks’ Dress and shoes from the “Rumors” album cover. There was also a room just dedicated to The Beatles (same with Bon Jovi and Elvis Presley).
There are so many other things that I saw that were so cool. This was such an amazing experience to be able to see artifacts from my favorite bands. If you ever get a chance to go see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I would definitely go.
