I am a huge fan of reading. Typically, I read fantasy or romance books, but since “Verity” by Colleen Hoover, a thriller- romance, is being made into a movie, I decided to give it a try

“Verity” by Colleen Hoover is about a struggling writer named Lowen Ashleigh who is hired to finish writing the remaining books in a popular series for the injured author Verity Crawford. While sorting through Verity’s notes, Lowen discovers a hidden, disturbing autobiography that details horrific events, leaving her to question everything about the seemingly perfect family and her new growing feelings for Verity’s husband, Jeremy.

I personally loved this book, and I normally do not like Colleen Hoover books. I finished this book in one day. I seriously could not put it down. It gets you hooked on the first page and keeps you hooked the whole time and anticipating what comes next.

This book was weird and suspenseful and definitely disturbing. I recommend it if you like romance and thriller, but there should be trigger warnings as some of the contents in the book are very disturbing and sensitive topics for some people if you plan to read it look up the trigger warnings first.
