This past Monday was dedicated to the thousands of soldiers who lost their lives and sacrificed so much for this country. Memorial Day is a day to be grateful for the lives we get to live thanks to those amazing service members. Without them, we may not be where we are today and even more lives would be lost.
Many people have family and friends who have passed away in the hopes of protecting their country, and their deaths were not in vain. Though Memorial Day has passed, let’s not forget the sacrifices that they made. Instead, let’s remember them every day as if it were a Memorial Day.
Let’s honor them and salute them. Because of them, we are able to live a life free of fear. Because of them, we are able to freely walk our streets without being afraid of air raids and mass homicides from enemy lands. They have kept these lands of ours safe for 250 years, and they are still working to keep these lands safe for many more to come.
