In 1965, there was a map buried in a cave. No one ever found it until two explorers did in 2024. The explorers were named Maria and Audi. Their goal of 2024 was to explore all the caves possible. Maria and Audi were on an adventure in this beautiful, special cave when they came across an X on the ground. An X usually marks the spot, so they knew they had to dig it up.

Maria and Audi just had a feeling that there was going to be a treasure chest buried, so they began to dig. They were about three feet deep when the shovel hit something hard. Audi pulled it out of the dirt and started to inspect it. It was a glass bottle with a tan, rolled up piece of paper. Maria took the cork off the top and pulled out the paper.

When they started to examine the map, it had another X at the end of the path on it. They knew this was the real chance for treasure, so they knew they had to go find it. Maria and Audi went home and prepared for their trip. They got all the gear, tools, food, and drinks they needed. Now it was time to follow the map.

The start of the map was at the cave they found it at. Maria and Audi returned to the cave so they could begin following the map. After walking about a mile, they reached a creepy forest. Maria was scared of the dark so she didn’t think that they should continue, but Audi knew they had to find the treasure. Audi encouraged Maria to continue on and she agreed.

Once they got about half way into the forest they found the X. Maria and Audi have never been more relieved to know that they reached their goal. They began digging once again, but it seemed a lot deeper than last time. When they got about five feet deep, they found something. However, what they found was not treasure…
