He looked into the mirror and saw a face that was not his own, a face that seemed to stare back with a knowing, unsettling smile. He looked away from the mirror, scared, and then looked back. He was hoping that when he looked back at the mirror, it would be his own reflection. When he looked back, the reflection was still the same face as before.
He yelled in terror because each time he looked away, and then looked back, it got even more deformed and creepy. He ran downstairs, and grabbed his phone. He called his mother and told her that his reflection isn’t him.
She sat silently for a second before saying, “Son, what are you talking about?” He told her to come over to see for herself.
About 20 minutes later, his mother showed up. She walked over to her son and asked, “What is this all about?” He grabbed her arm, and took her to the bathroom mirror.
He looked at the mirror, and said, “I need you to look at my reflection. Do you not see that? It’s deformed. That isn’t me.”
His mother looked at him confused. “I have no idea what you are talking about. That looks like your normal reflection,” his mother said with a confused look on her face.
He started to panic. He didn’t know what to do. He was confused. He told his mother that maybe he just needed some sleep, so he went to his room and went to bed. His mother went back home.
When he woke up the next morning, he went into the bathroom. He looked at his reflection, and it still was that creepy, deformed face. He went over to his mother’s house, and when she opened the door, she looked in shock. “Son, what happened to your face?” she asked.
“What do you mean?” the son responded.
“Your face… It’s… creepy… and almost deformed,” she said.
That’s when he realized that the reflection became real. He was cursed forever, and there was nothing he could do about it.
