Some people love or hate sophomore year but this year in particular I certainly enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would have. Everyone says high school is a scary place but honestly in my opinion it’s just people who want to socialize with their peers, then leave.

Some of my personal favorite memories of my sophomore year was the Activity Day last Friday. I enjoyed the snow cones and seeing everyone hanging out with their friends in the nice weather. Another favorite memory of sophomore year for me was doing track for the first time. I loved it so much and I enjoyed meeting so many new people. So if you don’t do any sports currently, you should definitely get into one before your high school career is over.

This year had some up and downs, but it was always nice to have some of my friends there to listen and give me advice to make myself better for other people and I think everyone should have a good group of friends or family around them to make sure they are doing well.

Some last words for the incoming sophomores and the freshmen: definitely explore some things, try new things, make new friends, go on adventures, and finally, have fun. Before you know it you will be walking the stage and receiving your diploma.
