Layla Bayer was born January 16th. She grew up in Corry. Layla lives in Corry and is currently a freshman. Layla has 3 siblings, ages 14,19,26. 

Some of her hobbies include sports, baking and knitting. Layla’s favorite subject is history. She enjoys it because her favorite teacher is Mr.Carney. Layla plays volleyball and track and participates in bocce. She competes in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and javelin. 

Some of her favorite things include the movie “Matilda” and the color purple. Her favorite emotion is happiness. When asked what her favorite music genre is she replied by saying that she likes all types of music and can’t just pick one. 

Layla plans to go to Florida for her upcoming vacation. If she could travel anywhere she would travel all 50 states because it’s been a dream of hers since she was little. Her idea of a dream vacation would be on a warm, sunny beach. If she could plan a perfect date she would prefer a picnic on the beach. 

The animal that matches her personality is a wombat. Layla’s favorite food is any kind of pasta. And her biggest pet peeve is loud chewing.  

Layla’s favorite quote is “Be the sunshine you want to see in the world.”

One piece of advice she would give her reader is that worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow’s problems– it takes away today’s joy.
