Shay Linden is a senior at Corry High School from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born on May 21, 2008. She enjoys staying active and creative through hobbies like Irish dancing, running, painting, doing hair, and swimming.

Shay is very kind, sharing her favorite quote, which is, “Don’t think less of yourself, but think of yourself less” by C.S. Lewis. She also compares her personality to a cat because they sleep a lot and she wishes she could sleep as much as them.

Shay was also announced as this year’s prom queen. Shay was filled with excitement. She was also very, very happy. In school, Shay’s favorite class is psychology because she likes to learn about how people think and why they think it.

Outside of school, she participates in cross country, track and field, and dance. She is furthering her cross country and track career at Grove City College. Shay hopes to pursue a career in some sort of design in the future.

Shay’s favorite food is raspberries, and she hopes to visit Ireland someday because of her passion for Irish dance. For a dream vacation she would want to go somewhere with lots of roller coasters, a beach, and eating a bunch of fruit.

Her perfect date would include scuba diving. One piece of advice Shay would like to give to her readers would be, “Christ died for you in public, so don’t love him in private.”
