Ms. Davies is an intro to chemistry and chemistry 1 teacher at Corry Area High School. Davies was born on August 3, 1993, in Pittsfield. She attended school in Tidioute then transferred to Youngsville High School, which is where she got her high school diploma. Davies has an older brother who is 34-years-old and a younger brother who is 22-years-old.
Ms. Davies got into teaching chemistry because she has always had a passion for it and because she wants students to have the same love for it as she does. Speaking of loving chemistry, Davies was the president of the math club and science club in high school.
Ms. Davies enjoys golfing at her parents’ golf course, reading horror/murder mystery stories, and watching movies in the same genre. Davies current favorite show is “Supernatural.”
Davies is going to take a trip to Virginia Beach in July. She has a love for the beach because it is beautiful, sunny and warm. To go along with this, her dream vacation would be a trip to the beach, going out to dinner every night, and of course eating lots of food. Speaking of the beach, Davies’ favorite color is blue like the pretty ocean and her favorite food is seafood, specifically shrimp and pizza.
“Fins” by Jimmy Buffett would have to be Ms. Davies favorite song because of the nostalgia. Her favorite emotion is happy. If Davies was an animal she would be a cat because, “they are mellow for the most [part], but can be grumpy when needed.”
Ms. Davies’ biggest pet peeve is definitely when students get up to sharpen their pencils while she is teaching.
To end this off, Davies would like to tell her readers that, “It is just high school, you don’t have to know what you want to do right now.”
