Murphy was born on October 4, 2024, which makes him one year old. He was brought to my home on February 26, 2025. Murphy is a wavy-haired golden doodle who was brought to us because of some problems with his other family. We welcomed Murphy with open arms and I couldn’t have been happier.
Murphy gets his beautiful coat of fur from his mom and his tallness from his dad. One of Murphy’s favorite things to do is to give hugs. He will put his arms up on my shoulders and give me a nice big hug. He also loves his sister Molly and follows her around everywhere she goes and takes her toys from her. Molly doesn’t like to play with other dogs. She would rather Murphy leave her alone.
Foods that Murphy loves to eat are cheese and the kibble out of her sister’s food bowl. Murphy will eat pretty much anything you give him, except vegetables. He does NOT like vegetables. He will always chew them up and then spit them out on the floor.
In Murphy’s perfect life he would be chewing a bone, snuggling with his family, and stealing his sister’s toys. His idea of luxury would be putting his front two legs up on the couch while someone scratches his belly, running after a ball, and sitting awkwardly.
Murphy loves to just sit where he feels comfortable. If I am sitting on the floor, he will come over and sit right on my lap. He will sit just about right on your head while you are laying down.
Lastly, a fun fact about Murphy is that he has a very long tongue, and it is always hanging out of the side of his mouth. Murphy will always be my little baby no matter how big he gets.
