This week’s spotlight is on Officer Bleicher, a dedicated member of the community who enjoys helping others and making a difference.
Officer Bleicher was born on September 30, 2002, and grew up in Corry. He attended Corry Area High School and later continued his education at Jamestown Community College.
As a child, Officer Bleicher already knew what he wanted to do when he grew up—he wanted to become a police officer. When asked why he chose this career, he explained that he enjoys driving fast cars, arresting bad guys, and helping the community.
Outside of work, Officer Bleicher has several hobbies and interests. He enjoys fishing, grilling, snowboarding, skiing, and spending time outdoors. He is also an only child.
If he could travel anywhere, Officer Bleicher says he would choose Alaska because he would love to see the amazing wildlife and unique animals there.
When it comes to entertainment, his favorite movie is “Step Brothers,” and his favorite song is “One Last Walk.” His favorite foods are steak and sushi.
Officer Bleicher describes his personality as being most like a bald eagle because he feels it represents being free and patriotic. His idea of a perfect date is going to a drive-in theater and watching a scary movie.
One of his biggest pet peeves is laziness. He believes people should work hard and stay motivated. Officer Bleicher lives by the quote: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
His advice to readers is simple but powerful: “Find a goal and achieve it.”
