Miss Watson, born on February 4, grew up in Rockland, PA, and is currently a student teacher for 11th grade in Mrs. Marsh’s classroom at Corry Area School District.
She attended Cranberry High School before continuing her education at PennWest Clarion University, where she will graduate in May 2026. Passionate about English Language Arts, Miss Watson chose this career path because she cares deeply about students and wants to help them discover what they want to do in the future.
She shared that her student teaching experience at Corry has been a “10/10,” saying Mrs. Marsh, Mr. Passinger, and all the students have been incredibly welcoming and supportive, and she hopes to return to Corry after graduation to continue her career.
Outside of school, Miss Watson enjoys reading and spending time outdoors. She has two siblings—a 16-year-old sister and a 7-year-old brother—and values family time. She dreams of traveling to Amsterdam, Italy, and Hawaii someday.
Watson’s favorite movie is “The Notebook,” her favorite color is pink, and she would match her personality to a koala bear.
Her perfect date is “bed rotting and watching movies,” and for her upcoming vacation days, she is heading to Myrtle Beach with her boyfriend’s family.
Miss Watson lives by the quote, “God’s plan over mine,” and leaves readers with this advice: always be yourself. Corry is lucky to have such a caring and dedicated future educator!
