“Thunderbolts*” is a Marvel movie that brings together a team of unlikely heroes who are not your typical Avengers. Instead of famous, confident superheroes, the film focuses on characters who have made mistakes and are still trying to figure themselves out. The team includes Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, John Walker, Ghost, and Sentry, all brought together by the mysterious Valentina.
The story mixes action with personal struggles, showing how each character deals with their past while trying to work as a team. There are big fight scenes and strong visual effects, but the movie also takes time to focus on the characters and their relationships.
Many critics and viewers see “Thunderbolts*” as one of the stronger recent Marvel films. The performances, especially from Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan, have been widely praised for feeling real and natural. The team dynamic adds humor and tension without going over the top. Personally, the cinematography and the special effects with “The Void” caught my attention and was exceptional, which put the movies ratings higher.
However, some parts of the story connect to earlier Marvel projects, so it may feel a little confusing for viewers who haven’t kept up with the series. Overall, “Thunderbolts*” offers a balanced mix of action, emotion, and teamwork, making it an enjoyable and solid addition to the Marvel lineup. The beginning, as well for the plot of the story, was a bit slow and could be confusing for people who don’t keep up with Marvel, which is my biggest critic.
