Barrel racing Bridget

The world would take on a new horse rider on October 30, 2008, with the birth of Bridget Kent. The fourth daughter of her five siblings, Bridget takes storm of the horse world.

Born in Corning, New York, and moving all around, before settling in Corry until she graduates. In school, Kent enjoys welding and English with Mr. Adamski. Bridget plans on using her welding skills in her future career with either Pipeline Welding or Directional Drilling. Outside of school, Kent enjoys horseback riding and traveling, as well as participating in Barrel racing with her horse, Misty.

When asked about her personal interests, her favorite color would have to be black or red. Her favorite movie is both “Five Nights at Freddy’s” 1 and 2. Her favorite book series is Harry Potter, and her favorite song is “San Quentin” by Nickelback. Her favorite emotion is confusion as she always trying to understand why the world acts the way it does. Her favorite meal would have to be her dad’s steak with steamed broccoli with cheese and homemade mashed potatoes.

Her favorite quote would be, “Don’t start a fight, but if you get into one, throw a chair at their head.” – Her dad.

Bridget’s ideal vacation spot would be anywhere secluded, only wishing to bring the people she trusts the most. Her idea of a perfect date would be a picnic in field with sunset, go to the movies, or go to their house to watch a movie, specifically with kettlecorn popcorn and M&M’s.

If she were to be compared to an animal, she said it would be a pitbull due to her being a motherly figure along with her being mean to you when first hanging out but will eventually own up and become nice.

Bridget’s biggest pet peeve would be when people talk over her constantly and when people think she owes them everything.

Her final words to her readers would be, “I promise I’m not mean on purpose.”
