Mrs. Kuzma is a teacher at Corry Area High School. She said that she chose this job to “help kids work through generational trauma.” Her birthday is April 30, and she attended Corry when she was in school.
She liked biology and photography most in high school, because they were more hands-on kind of work. She also had two older siblings. She has three athletic kids, and when asked how she plans to spend her vacation days, she said “wrestling tournaments and posse tournaments.”
Mrs. Kuzma herself played little league. When she was younger, she wanted to be an eye doctor. When asked what some of her favorite things weere, she said “Big Fish” was her favorite movie, teal was her favorite color, and “Parking Lot Prayers” is her favorite song.
Her favorite quote is, “It is what it is,” which I find very calming in a way that we can’t control all things, so we need to find ways to stand tall and work through it. Mrs. Kuzma’s biggest pet peeve is when people won’t put others first, which makes so much sense to me.
She pours in all of her heart and strength to her students, children, family, and anyone she can, whether it be the wrestling team, softball team, her classes, or even other things as well.
What Mrs. Kuzma wants to say to everyone reading is, “Do what you feel is right even if your voice shakes.”
