Eric McCray grew up in the Corry area along with his brother. His birthday is unknown because he said that he was hatched from an egg. Growing up he found a liking for race cars and camping. McCray is a graduate of the automotive program here at Corry, which became his favorite class to teach.
When we asked him about why he enjoys teaching so much, he said that he loves working with kids and that he likes to pass on his own knowledge onto the ones he teaches.
Mr. McCray said that his dream vacation would be to relax for a week with no responsibilities. We also asked him where he would like to visit and he said Tulsa, Oklahoma, to go to the Chili Bowl. Lastly, we asked what his upcoming vacation plans were and he said he doesn’t have anything planned yet but he did visit Nashville, Tennessee previously.
Mr.McCray said his ideal dream date would be April 25.
When we interviewed McCray and asked him if he played any sports, he said that he currently does racing with his two sons, but when he was in high school he did football, soccer, basketball, and golf.
When we asked McCray what his biggest pet peeve was he said, “When people ask but don’t listen.”
Lastly, we asked what piece of advice would you give your readers and he said, “Enjoy life, it goes by fast.”
