Mackenzie Noelle Ricketts grew up in Corry and has gone to the Corry Area School District her whole life. Mac is 16 years old, with her birthday falling on February 16, 2009.
Mac is known for her love of cooking, baking, making Tiktoks, and hanging out with friends. She has two brothers, Macyn, 13, and Cameron, 18. Macyn is in 8th grade, while Cameron just graduated last year.
When she thinks about the future, Mac dreams of becoming a psychiatrist to help people improve their mental health and quality of life. She’s also fascinated by radiology tech work, especially sonography, MRI’s, and x-rays, enjoying the challenge of spotting things in scans.
If she could visit anywhere in the world, it would be Hawaii, her favorite tropical paradise with beautiful beaches.
Mac’s favorite animal is the zebra, admired for its unique and awesome stripes. Pink is her favorite color because she believes every shade is flawless. Sushi tops her food list, thanks to her love for seafood, and her favorite movie is “Beautiful Boy”, which she appreciates for its deep and impactful meaning.
Mac plays soccer, runs track, and she has spent nearly 12 years in competitive dance.
Her biggest pet peeves are loud chewing and mean people, showing her appreciation for kindness and respect. Her favorite quote is, “Treat others how you want to be treated,” which she tries to apply to her everyday life. Advice she would give her readers is don’t take life for granted because it moves faster than you think.
