Marcus Meredith is a senior at Corry Area High School. He was born on May 23, 2008, and has lived in Corry his whole life. Marcus has two siblings: Carson (19) and Matt (34). Marcus enjoys duck hunting, hanging out with friends, and sleeping.
Marcus spends the first half of his day on work release, working for the City of Corry, then comes into school around noon. His future plans are going to college to become a state police officer. Marcus plays on the Corry football team as an outside linebacker and is also a member of the wrestling team.
Marcus answered a series of questions for football senior night on Friday October 11. His favorite football memory was “beating Mercyhurst Prep” at Corry’s homecoming game. His pre-game routine involves, “eating Subway and taking a nap.”
Lastly, if Marcus could give one piece of advice to younger teammates he said, “don’t take time for granted.”
