Sydney Mineo is a senior here at Corry High School. She was born on February 12, 2008 and has lived in Corry her entire life. She has one brother named Ashton who goes to Penn State. Sydney loves to go to the beach and hangout with her friends.
Sydney is a well-rounded student who is a part of our high school’s varsity volleyball and softball team. She is also a Student Ambassador, Student Mentor, a member of The National Honor Society, and a Safeline member. Her future plan is to become a physician’s assistant. Her top three college choices are Duquesne, Gannon, and Penn State.
Volleyball has been a big part of Sydney life throughout the past six years. She first got into volleyball because of her friends. Now as a senior on the team, Sydney is a great leader.
She is a ds/libero and hopes to make it as far as possible being ranked first in the state. When Sydney was asked what the team does to keep their winning streak she said they stay as calm as possible and trust their training.
