Mrs. Hickernell is a new guidance counselor here at Corry High School. This is her first year here and she is already having a great year.
Lori Hickernell was born on December 15, in Jamestown, PA. She also attended Jamestown High School. Some of the things she likes to do when she not at school is to ride horses, running, biking and lifting. She has two older sisters, so she’s the youngest.
She got into the job she did because she had an amazing high school counselor. One place she would like to visit is Fiji because of the beaches.
Her favorite movie is “Secretariat” and her favorite song is “Won’t Back Down.” When I asked her for her favorite color she said, “Blue.”
Her favorite quote is, “Keep looking where the light shines bright.” An animal that would match her personality would be a horse, and her dream vacation would just be anywhere on a beach. Her perfect date would be sitting on a boat with a sunset.
Her favorite foods are Italian and Mexican, and she also played basketball during high school. Her biggest pet peeve is when her kids don’t put their dirty laundry is the laundry basket.
One piece of advice she would give her readers is to “Enjoy every moment.”
