Mrs. Maria Rose was born on November 15t in Erie. She was raised there along with her seven siblings.
She grew a particular enjoyment of reading, cooking, walking, and math. When she graduated high school, she attended Edinboro University, where she got a degree in math, but specifically to teach 7th and 8th graders.
Her favorite class to teach is Algebra 1 because she loves the concepts she is able to teach.
Mrs. Rose’s favorite movie is “Catch Me if You Can.” Her favorite music artist is Taylor Swift; and her favorite color is purple. If Mrs. Rose could compare her personality to anything, she would choose a dog.
Her favorite food is a bit surprising, considering it is chicken and waffles. I thought this was interesting, but she said it is very good and that she orders it whenever she can.
When Rose gets the chance, she wishes to visit Alaska so she can finally see a polar bear in real life. Speaking of free time, she is attending a wedding in Montana for her upcoming vacation days.
According to Mrs. Rose, the idea of a dream vacation is going to the beach. The perfect date would have to be the beach as well.
A little fun fact about Mrs. Rose is that she used to play softball, but she plays volleyball now. Her biggest pet peeve is when people don’t put things back in the same place they found it.
One piece of advice Mrs. Rose is leaving with her readers is that you have to find your purpose.
