CMHS is very excited to welcome Mrs. Wyant, the new assistant principal, into our school district.
Wyant was born on February 6 and grew up in Oil City. She attended high school in Oil City, then furthered her education at Edinburo University and Point Park University. In high school she did swimming and in college she played tennis. Outside of school Mrs. Wyant enjoys running, snowboarding and making pottery.
Mrs. Wyant’s family consists of three kids, two dogs, one cat, and a turtle.
Before Mrs. Wyant was an assistant principal, she was an art teacher. Her passion for helping and inspiring people led her to the job she has now. If Mrs. Wyant was able to travel anywhere, she would go to the mountains near Colorado and Montana. She would describe her perfect date as “something simple.” For her dream vacation she would go to a ski resort.
Mrs. Wyant enjoys the show “Stranger Things,” the color purple, and feeling calm. She also loves chicken parmesan.
If Mrs. Wyant was an animal, she would be a bird because she is free-spirited. Loud chewing is her biggest pet peeve.
A quote that Mrs. Wyant lives by is, “Practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty,” by Anne Herbert. A piece of advice she would give to her readers is, “Never give up.”
