Emma Bates was born on June 4, 2010, and grew up in Corry. Emma has gone to Corry schools for her whole life. She has three siblings: two sisters, one is 17 and the other is 20, and a brother who is 19 years old. Emma loves listening to music, and hanging out with friends.

When being asked where she would like to go on vacation, she answered, “Europe, its so beautiful there and I would love to see it in person some day, it’s my dream.”

When she was asked about recent vacations she said, “It was fun and warm; there was a lot of people and lots of free-roaming chickens and birds.”

She said that her favorite movie is “The Hunger Games,” her favorite song is, “anything but country,” her favorite color is red, and her favorite emotion is happy. When being asked her favorite quotation she said, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

Emma stated, “I love cats– they are so playful, goofy and friendly!” regarding what animal would match her personality the best.

She said she would love to go on vacation in Europe, and take a few weeks to tour the places she wants to see the most. Her perfect idea for a date would be to go to a new restaurant and go watch a movie. Growing up, her favorite class was math because she’s very good at it.

When asked about her favorite food she said steak. For sports, Emma enjoys volleyball. Emma said that her biggest pet peeve is people who ignore her and people who walk slow.

Lastly, some advice she would like to give to the reader is, “Always help others but never forget to put yourself on top.”
