Nicole Mejivar was born June 26. She was raised with her lovely sibling, Sarah, her older sister who currently lives in Fair view with her family and is known as Menjivar’s best friend, growing up in Erie, Pennsylvania.
In Menjivar’s free time she enjoys spending much of her time with her two little girls, Addie and Aubrey. On the contrary, she also loves to shop. When growing up she went to McDowell High School and got her undergraduate degree at California University of Pennsylvania. She then got her graduate degree at Gannon University. Menjivar knew that she wanted to be a teacher of some sort. Especially math because she really enjoys it, and talking. Her passion increases as she describes it as she wanted a job where she can teach other people, so they enjoy math just as much as she does. She knew that she needed something that was busy, very hands on, and sociable. Menjivar loves math so much that it is her favorite class of all.
When asking where she wanted to travel and places to visit, she stated that she would love to travel anywhere warm with a beach. ¨We don’t see a lot of sun where we live, so it is always nice to go somewhere with lots of it.” This statement is a standout because who doesn’t love a warm beach?
To continue, her favorite artist is Taylor Swift, which is a favorite because Menjivar had luckily got to see her Eras Tour twice, once in Pittsburgh and once in Toronto, which leads her to be an iconic Swiftie. In addition, she also likes the color pink.
Upcoming for her future vacation days she plans on planning many ¨stay-cations¨ where this summer she can spend lots of time with her girls visiting the Peninsula, Waldemar, and the Erie Zoo. Speaking of animals, I asked her what animal she would match her personality to and she described a dog because it shows how loyal she is, enjoys yummy treats, and takes walks.
When asking her ideal perfect date she explained that dinner is somewhere delicious and then a movie with a LARGE popcorn. Thinking about dinner we soon found out that she doesn’t really have a favorite food, but if it was a drink she joked that Diet Pepsi is often running through her veins. Another thing to add is her personality is humor because she is quite funny.
I asked her if she was a sports person and her response was, “I consider myself more of a mathlete than an athlete.”
Lastly, Nicole Menjivar wanted to leave many readers with a quote I felt dearly about which is, “Don’t quit when things get tough! Keep trying until you succeed!”
