With the NFL draft coming up next Thursday, I wanted to share my top ten picks for the draft.
1.Titans- Qb Cam Ward
I think this is the most clear pick of the draft. The Titans need a QB and Cam Ward looks like the clear best QB in the draft.
2. Browns- Cb/Wr Travis Hunter
The Browns land perhaps the most versatile player in the draft. Travis Hunter is a two-way weapon with elite upside at both corner and wide receiver. With Cleveland potentially needing help on both sides of the ball and lacking elite star power outside of Myles Garrett, Hunter adds dynamic playmaking ability and instant excitement to the roster.
3. Giants – Edge- Abdul Carter
I think the Giants continue building their defense with a high-motor, physically dominant edge rusher. Abdul Carter brings explosive athleticism and a relentless pass rush to this Giants defense.
4. Patriots- OT- Will Campbell
With the offense needing serious restructuring, the Patriots play it smart and secure one of the safest offensive line prospects in the draft. Will Campbell is a tone-setter with size, strength, and discipline.
5. Jaguars- DL- Mason Graham
I think Jacksonville bolsters the interior of their defensive line with the powerful and disruptive Mason Graham. He’s a high-motor tackle who can collapse the pocket and dominate against the run. Adding Graham helps take pressure off Josh Allen and Travon Walker, forming a more complete defensive front.
6. Raiders- Rb- Ashton Jeanty
The Raiders need offensive identity, especially with Josh Jacobs no longer around. Ashton Jeanty is a dynamic, modern back who can run, catch, and line up all over the field. He brings versatility and home-run ability to a team lacking explosive playmakers.
7. Jets- OL- Armand Membou
Protecting Justin Fields is the top priority, and Armand Membou is a rising star who offers flexibility at guard or tackle. I think the Jets continue to invest in their offensive line to try and maximize Justin Fields by giving him as much protection as possible.
8. Panthers- Edge- Jalon Walker
I think the Panthers go with best-player-available here, getting an explosive edge rusher in Jalon Walker. With Brian Burns gone, Carolina needs a new face to bring heat off the edge. Walker has freakish traits and high upside as a pass-rusher in a defense that’s rebuilding from the ground up.
9. Saints- Qb Shadeur Sanders
The Saints need a long-term answer at quarterback after the injury of Derek Carr, and Shedeur Sanders offers the poise, arm talent, and leadership to fill that role. He’s proven he can carry an offense under pressure and has the tools to be a franchise QB. I think New Orleans goes all-in on the future.
10. Bears- Edge- Mykel Williams
I think Chicago pairs Mykel Williams with Montez Sweat to form a devastating edge duo. Williams has ideal size, athleticism, and the pedigree of a Georgia defender. He fits perfectly with the Bears’ identity of tough, fast defense and could quickly become a cornerstone of their front seven.
