Emily Ann Conroy is an amazing teacher working at Corry Area High School. She was born August 7, 1991, and grew up in Harbor Creek but now lives in Millcreek.
When Conroy isn’t in school she enjoys reading and going on trips around the world, she loves going to new places around the U.S. to the national parks so she can see new things and beautiful places she hasn’t seen before. But during the summer she also loves going out to camp and spending a lot of time outside in the wilderness and adventure.
Conroy loves helping her students with anything and everything; it makes her so happy and makes her days. She enjoys knowing that she can change people’s lives by just something as simple as asking about their days and putting a smile on their faces when they walk into her class or even when she sees them in the hallway. Conroy is a very pretty, smart, sweet, and happy person that I think everyone should have in their lives.
Conroy went to school in Behrend for two years and Mercyhurst for also two years. While she was in school she learned a lot about astronomy and human biology, and she also took education classes to help her. She ran track back when she was in high school. She enjoys learning new things.
Her dream vacation is to go to Europe to see newer and better things she’s always dreamed of seeing. She thinks that Europe is such a beautiful place and can’t wait for the day she can visit. She would compare herself to a flamingo but doesn’t know why. Maybe because it’s her favorite animal?
Her favorite move is “Wizard of Oz” and her favorite color is purple. Her idea of a perfect date is going out to eat to get chicken wings, which she enjoys so much, and ice cream after dinner. Then going to the beach and watching the beautiful sunset while the waves are going and hearing all of the amazing sounds the ocean can give out.
She has a younger brother who is 31 years old and anytime he’d leave a tissue box or the toilet roll empty she’d get so mad, it’s her biggest pet peeve ever.
She always says to her students and others “No Worries” and if she were to give her readers one piece of advice she would tell them “Don’t let something small ruin your day!”
