Kaylee Barber was born on April 19, 2009, and lived in Bethel, Vermont, for the first few years of her life until she moved to Corry. Kaylee has one older brother, Easton, who is 17 years old. After Barber graduates high school she plans on attending college and becoming a music therapist. Some of her hobbies include playing the clarinet, pour-painting, and playing basketball. Barber’s favorite class is AP Gov. because it is interesting.
A while back Kaylee went to Glacier National Park in Montana and would like to visit it again because it was beautiful. Barber loves the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series, her favorite song is “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake, favorite color is teal, and her favorite food is buffalo chicken dip.
Kaylee’s favorite quote is, “Faith isn’t proven like gold until it’s been through fire.”- “Fought Hallelujah” by Brandon Lake.
Kaylee’s idea of a perfect date would of course be hiking in the mountains. Barber would match her personality to a dolphin because they are smart, playful and friendly. Her biggest pet peeve is, “When people quit in the middle of doing something.”
A cool fact about Kaylee is she won first chair for the second round of clarinets, won second overall in clarinet, and will be attending regions on March 6-8 at United High School.
Lastly, a piece of advice Kaylee would like to give to her readers is “Please wear deodorant.”
