Naomi Brown, a good friend of mine, and also a cousin, was born on June 11, 2010. We grew up together in Corry, however, she recently moved to Sparta and has been there for around three years. She attends Corry High School as a freshman.
Naomi’s family loves sports, and she has been involved with volleyball her whole life. Her other hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, softball, and lifting. With Naomi comes her three other siblings. She has an older brother, Adam who is 23, an older sister named Elaina who is 19, and a younger brother named Colt who is adorable and only 18 months old. Naomi’s goal for the future is to attend Clarion University and become a chiropractor.
Her ideal vacation would be somewhere “very tropical, beautiful and beachy.” She told me that her favorite song is “All Around Me” by Flyleaf because it’s something that she used to listen to when she was younger and “it brings her back to her roots.”
Naomi is a very determined, headstrong person, which is why her favorite quote is “There’s always somebody working harder than you.” She’s super motivated and is constantly working to better herself in every aspect of her life. Her favorite classes are English, because she loves to write, and 9th grade seminar because she enjoys learning about all of the different careers. Naomi’s favorite foods are mac & cheese and buffalo chicken wing dip.
Her biggest pet peeves are when people act like they know what they’re doing when they don’t, when people have random outbursts, and liars.
Naomi has always been someone that I can go to talk to about anything and she always makes me feel so much better with the advice she gives. With that being said, one piece of advice she would give to her readers is “Even when you’re having a bad day, try to be kind to others because you are always being experienced by people.”
